Upon other local school district recommendations and our own first impressions and research, we chose Financial Benefit Services as our new TPA and began our journey with them in the summer employee open enrollment event of 2020. This summer held new challenges as we navigate the COVID-19 environment. Our usual event begins with a festive kick off including a vendor fair and enrollment assistants on site. This year the entire event was a successful virtual affair. FBS was with us every step of the way and provided live presentations which they then made available in a recorded format to be shared in reminder advertisements, an opportunity to schedule a one-on-one virtual appointment to have specific questions answered, and a call center that assisted with every detail of enrollment from helping with login issues to explaining the details of each available product.
